Mongolian culture is in a state of great flux; competing "traditional" and "modern" value systems not only clash but meld together in novel expressions of uniquely Mongolian modernity. While sharp cultural divisions exist between rural and urban areas, the lines are increasingly blurred with each interchange between the two worlds.
